Partner Ministries

We are involved in much more than theological instruction. Not only are we closely linked with our the other auxiliary ministries of Truth In Love Fellowship, but we are also partnered with a number of other ministries not part of that family. Below you will find useful information and links to our partners.

Truth in Love Fellowship, our parent church, is a non-denominational Christian fellowship that meets at VBI every Sunday at 2:00PM. The "Statement of Faith" and the "Theological Distinctions" of VBI are theirs as well. Formed in 2004 as a work of faith to bring expositional Bible teaching and discipleship back to the fore.

A Journey to Freedom is an emotional healing and spiritual development group that normally meets at 6:30PM every Thursday at VBI. This is a very safe place for anyone struggling with destructive or life-dominating behaviors. Part of the SAFE Network.

Note: Group meetings suspended until Fall.

Truth In Love Ministries includes the counseling arm of the Truth In Love Family. Collaborating with the International Association of Biblical Counselors to make solid Biblical Counseling available on a sliding fee scale.

Mending the Soul is perhaps the most effective approach available today to bringing healing to survivors of abuse, neglect/abandonment, domestic violence, and sexual assault. The Christ-centered, Biblically-based curriculum is theologically strong, robust in its employ of applicable social science research, and has been an amazing help to many.

One of our most cherished ministry partners is the residential program for women and children in Chehalis, Washington known as Safe Family Ministries. They serve women - many with children - who have suffered by life choices and circumstances and assist them in rebuilding their lives with dignity and service.

The unique mission of Door to Grace is to restore life to rescued children - children rescued out of the clutches of sex-trafficking in the greater Portland area (Oregon).  Their mission is to 1) open and operate a safe shelter for rescued children; 2) train caregivers to serve victims by demonstrating Christ's love, grace and mercy; and 3) serve the church to build a sustainable, community-wide system of support for victims.

Hope for Wholeness is a DVD-based curriculum to assist those affected by homosexuality. This ground-breaking video curriculum addresses the complex issue of homosexuality in a biblical and practical manner. Ephesians 2 Ministry is an auxiliary ministry of Truth in Love Fellowship that reaches those affected by the doctrines of Mormonism and Jehovah's Witnesses. They provide teaching as well as personal support and counsel.
